I personally think it fell off once Frank Underwood won the top spot. For me, the thrill was in the chase. How he manipulated folks, schemed and connived was what made the show great. Once he got what he wanted, it all started to get repetitive and just gross in some cases. Stamper dating the widow of the man who he knocked off the donor list to save Frank, who asked for that?
And its most definitely the last season. I believe the producers and company have said as much. Honestly, I think this season only happened because they didn’t want to can the staff who worked hard and would’ve been left in limbo because of the backlash to Spacey’s pervert life.
