Are there going to be more books about Perpetuals like Oll Persson and Damon Prytanis? I'm hoping Dan Abnett will write new books for them soon.

I personally think Damon Prytanis is the best Perpetual. He is the most realistic in his personality after seeing what humanity has done to itself.

You can count on it, since he ultimately has to live up to his legendary role by the end of the Siege of Terra.

Would there be a way to ask Dan Abnett when the new books will come?

I dunno does he have a web page? that said IMHO you'd be best off not to waste your time and clutter his email box, the odds are good that he won't be able to tell you much more then a vague "Where will Oli turn up next? and what will he do? you'll have to keep reading to find out!"

He would not have to tell anything about the story, just when the books for it will come out.

I think I have seen more posts on perpetual old person this week than in my whole time on this board. Did something come out with the old man in it?

Yes; a seriously obsessed fan.

And to answer said fan’s question, they aren’t allowed to tell when it’s coming, or if it’s coming. It breaks the terms of their contracts. They can only tell you to keep an eye on the Black Library site, or if you’re lucky they might tell you that you should be happy in upcoming months...and then a book might come out that mentions his name at best.

You did. It got moved because it wasn't appropriate for that sub.

I hope never. Perpetual should have never been introduced in HH. Now we need a reboot when the series is not even finished...

Immortals are the dumbest thing in 40k. NOT. What makes the Perpetuals stupid? Daemon Princes are immortal. So were the Sensei from 1st Edition Rogue Trader. I don't see how the Perpetuals are stupid in a setting of real gods and already existing immortals. And Perpetuals can be put down for good. And this a question about what books the Perpetuals will be in next, so don't stray away from the question.

deamon princes are very very differant from perpetuals, deamon princes are individuals whom have, quite literaly, sold their soul for immortality. Meanwhile perpetuals are just immortal "cause" if you can't see why someone would find those two things to be VERY differant in tone then I don't know what to say. Here's something else, because we know perpetuals can be made (see Cyrene for example) this begs the obvious question "rather then persuing deamon hood why don't people persue this path" etc

I'm not saying perpetuals are bad (I'm reserving judgement myself, it's possiable they're working towards something with the idea that might be kinda cool) but if you can't see how they are thematicly VERY VERY differant from deamon princes...

Because most people don't even know about the Perpetuals.

And Daemon Princes are immortal Godlike creatures (Godlike mostly inside the warp, but sometimes they are godlike outside of it).

Many of the Perpetuals are human with no powers or any Godlike abilities.

sure except your statement doesn't address the point, that conceptually deamon princes and perpetuals are VERY VERY differant things

As Crimson mentioned already, your question is already effectively answered. Furthermore, while it is against forum rules to be off-topic, there is a fair amount of leeway in terms of how the discussion can develop, and thus does not always need to go back to your inane points about the Big E, Perpetuals, etc. Considering that you've had 3 threads locked since you came back, you might want to tread carefully about what you post.

Most of those locked threads were because the threads were to be finished.

And I see that. I hope Dan Abnett will come out with more books for the Perpetuals soon.
