Jealous that Horus is Warmaster

Hey fellas!

So I'm in the process of building and painting my Alpha Legion, and Autilon Skorr is one of those models I really want to use in some lower point games. The things is, he was a limited print model that isn't sold anymore and those that do exist of eBay and such are so outrageously expensive that they aren't worth it.

Thus I want to convert my own Skorr, but I don't have any good ideas at the top of my head. I do have some spare Power Axes from the Lernean kit and spare Alpha Legion helmets, so the weapon and helmet are done, but what is a good base model?

Here is the model, for reference:

Alpharius? Never heard of him.

Well well well.. That could most def work! Change the arms, maybe another helmet with a plume, remove the cape. Yeah, could absolutely work!

Alpharius? Never heard of him.

Especially gotta love those swords that you can't pull out!

Now we just need some bolters without barrels...

I'm pretty sure the slit at the top of the sheathe would allow the praetor to pull the sword out at an angle.

That opening doesn’t seem big enough for the widest part of the blade even at an angle, the neck is too tapered unless the leading edge of the blade is much smaller than the curve of the scabbard. I think Japanese swords would be more appropriate for AL.
