Hello everyone!

Bruce Hirst here. I have finally put the instructions up for the Space Fortress blocks which is a scale meant for Epic 40K. If you're familiar with my wok, I make rubber molds that you can pour plaster or dental stone into to make building blocks. Here's a quick link to the new instructions at http://www.hirstarts.com/starfort/starfort.html and below is a photo of one layout using the blocks.

The mechs you see here are some of the CAV mechs from Reaper. Here's a photo comparing the scale to a Battletech Vulture so you compare the scale to other 1:285 scaled items.

I spent roughly about six months working on the blocks for this scale of terrain. There are a total of 82 different blocks if you have all three molds, so I had to post some specific instructions on how to build with them. All of the blocks are in 1/4" increments so most everything fits together nicely. The hard part is to know what to do with all of the bits (hence the instructions).

I tried my best to make elements that would be the most useful for this scale and give it a futuristic feel. It does not have the gothic style of 40K but it still might be useful.

Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions.

Thanks,
Bruce Hirst

I think they look great. I'm not currently in the market for that scale but I'll keep the product in mind. Good luck and thanks for posting.

Being a very happy customer for 28mm stuff if I was gaming 6mm sci fi this would be my go to solution for buildings, this stuff is amazing, for anyone worried about plaster being fragile...

well once painted its not too bad if you use the tougher stuff, stick some grey pigment in it and a few knocks matter less, its also cheap enough to be disposable.

failing that, cast in resin
