Its for personal use I am not selling the models, same thing as people that scratch build vehicles from cardstock and other materials for larger table top 40k a player is allowed to make something for their own personal use, its only when people start selling stuff that its an issue, if I put it up on shapeways and was selling it then it would be an issue but since its made for my use in epic in private games then its not an issue.

The model was a test print, there were not enough supports during the test print and it came loose from the print bed.

That's lovely, really well done! I'm a big fan of the Falcon.

How many do you plan on printing?

There are no infringments for personal use reproductions. In nearly every nation the laws include such allowances. It's when it is sold, or technically even if it is given away, to another person that you enter into gray legal grounds. When it comes to sculpts, something done completely by one's self that doesn't use a copyrighted name that is made from the ground up is not prevented by copyright laws. The recent issue with the Conan Sculpt legal challenge was that he was using a copyrighted name "representing" his model as part of a protected IP. If you made this falcon on your own from the ground up and did not call it a falcon, then it's all yours, even if it looks extremely similar. Though the last part is often argued in court, the crux is it must be 100% your work and it must not be "represented" as the copyrighted IP or even inferred there of.
