What have you all done with your 1st edition X-wing cards, decks, cardboard, etc?

They're in a box and a card binder. My excess stuff is up for sale or trade in the swap shop.

I'm going to throw a part of it at some friends' kids, hope it sticks. But most of it, yeah, in a big box, waiting for a decision.

Yep, in a box. Thinking I will keep some stuff for HotAC but the rest is going to stay in a box or is getting sold.

I was thinking I'd just throw it in the garbage - Other than event exclusive stuff like the decks they handed out at Hoth, I really don't see any of it having any value and taking up a lot of space.

TBH I look at a lot of games where the 1st edition has become collector's editions or just nostalgia bait. 10-15 years there will be people willing to shell out for it, just for the jollies. And it'll also be rare BECAUSE of the people that just tossed their stuff.

I still have my upgrade cards... Many of them I bought as singles online, but the movement dials, pilots cards and base inserts are trashed as I replace the components with 2nd edition stuff.

Agreed, just for the nostalgia bait it is worth keeping the stuff. I don't think I had such a huge collection, the binders fit in the box I stashed everything else in, so there is that.

I'll probably chuck away the duplicates, and just keep one of each card.

Using some of the shield and other tokens in the new version.
The rest are bagged up and in the conversion kit boxes for later. Dials and such for ships I don't have are in there too, until I grab ships in clearance sales.
