Hey all!

I've decided to start up a showcase thread for my completed units as I finish them in my blog over on the P&M Blogs area
This will also include some of the units I've painted up in the past and will eventually have a few army shots when I eventually paint up my army to a reasonable standard and base them. There'll be a whole range of stuff in here but you'll mostly find Eldar of different varieties but there'll be the odd Tyranid, Space Marine or Ork among others as I go.

Without further ado, here we go!

Aeldari - Craftworld: Fir Farillecassion - Watchers Over Ancient Wrongs

HQ
Spiritseer Elraseth Deathspeaker "The mists of space and time retreat from my mind"

Elites
Dark Reaper Squad - Whispered Death Shrine "The Destroyer guides us"

Drukhari - Weeping Eye Kabal

Troops
Kabalite Squad - The Splintered Eye "We feed off their pain!"

Thanks for looking and C&C is always appreciated!

Dude, that helmet conversion is cool. Looks simple but very effective. And I like the scheme on your dark Eldar. The red looks ace with the beige colour of the guns. Nice work

Hey all,

Another few models to show off that I've just recently completed. Used an airbrush on a model for the first time so it was fun to try out that side of painting and I may invest in a proper airbrush now that I've had some practice!

A mechanised set of models this time round consisting of a Falcon, Wave Serpent and a Fire Prism. Let me know what you guys think, I've had fun painting them!

Dedicated Transport

Wave Serpent - Vaul's Messenger "Swiftly, we deliver death to the enemy"

Heavy Support

Falcon Battle Tank - Eldanesh's Hope "Just as Falcon brought Anaris to Eldanesh, we bring warriors to the front"

Fire Prism - Khaine's Lance "Bringing massive firepower"

Thanks for looking

Hey all,

I just finished this Panzer II Diorama based on the Afrika Korps scheme from early WWII. I know scale modelling isn't a big part of Dakka but hopefully it's of interest to some. I haven't tried something like this before so it's all a learning experience.

C&C very much appreciated and thanks for looking!

Hey all,

I've completed a few more models since my last update but rather than lump them into the post with my Panzer, I thought I'd show them off together as a group of Aeldari. Let me know what you think, C&C is very much appreciated!

Thanks Elbows! Have to agree, the old Fire Prism has that something about it alright

Hey all,

It was a slow January for me, but I've put out a few more models since the last update!

Hey all,

Rather than make a new topic for every build I finish, I'll keep updating this one instead.

First scale build of 2021 for me: An Airfix MiG-15 in Korean War Era Soviet colours. This swept wing jet fighter entered the Korean War as a shock to the West, taking down the West's straight wing jet aircraft with relative ease and only really met it's match with the F-86 Sabre later in the war. Airfix's rendition of the jet isn't brilliant as it is too short in the fuselage and as a result makes it look chubby. I had this kit since it was released in 2009 so getting round to it now is some feat!

Enjoy the photos, hopefully dragging a few scale modellers along with it!

C&C appreciated!

Great looking Eldar, and the plane looks really nice!

A 15 second dunk in hot water (not boiling) will straighten that seer sword up

Hey folks,

Updating this thread with some of the work I've done that isn't a space marine. Hope you like the disparate range of stuff!

These Dragon Knights were rush painted for a tournament in 2019 and never went back after getting a basic, three colours up paint job. I went back in and added more detail as Exodites should be given the love they deserve!

I painted the first mini as part of the Dakka Unofficial Painting Challenge as well as being a hobby resolution to try some new painting styles. I ended up with a cool (in my opinion) kitbash and it's inspired me to build a small Inquisitorial warband for myself. The second test mini is part of the waband too as a fast, sleek and deranged single combatant.

Inq28/Blanchitsu Experiments

This warband is my first painted up for Underworlds as it's a game I wanted to try for ages and Direchasm was the perfect excuse! Great minis with lovely detail and I hope I've done them justice.

Howdy folks,

Adding some more minis to this thread in the form of some AoS minis from Underworlds as well as a wee dabble in the Grimdark/Blanchitsu style with a tech priest dominus I picked up from the Imperium magazine a while back. Have no plans to do an army in the style, so it's mostly a fun little project. Let me know what you think!

Hi folks,

2023 has been less than ideal on the hobby progress front but I have managed some hobby! Very little on the 40k front in favour of self contained projects.

First up, my Aeronautica and now Legions Imperialis Navy! 2 Marauder Bombers, 2 Thunderbolts and 3 Lightnings making a neat 150pt list

Mordrax 778th

Next up, a loonboss on giant cave squig I got as a one off project.

Swiftly onwards, a quick paint job of the Underworlds warband Zarbag's Gitz. Done in 4 painting sessions.

Next we have some baddies from Blackstone Fortress - Traitor Guardsmen and Negavolt Cultists

Finally, some experiments in Blanchitsu as part of my Inq28 Inquisitorial Warband. Fast and fun paint jobs, I think the kitbashes were the longest part!

Inquisitorial Retinue Epsilon-554

Inquisitorial Attaché: Corsair Irai Vathu

Inquisitorial Trooper Reinhold

Inquisitorial Curiosity HUK-908

Hope you like them and happy holidays!

Less than ideal on progress, perfectly acceptable on awesomeness. Fantastic paintjobs, and you gotta love the =][= minis.

Hello folks,

Another update with what I've been working on this year.

Kicking off with my Blood Bowl team: Gutterball Galacticos. The box was painted in 12 hours last year but I added the FW booster pack for a league I'm currently playing in. Spent a little bit more time on them.

Onto the Sons of Horus - I started these guys in 2018 and never finished them. I went through and added various details as they were largely airbrushed before.

Now some terrain! I have a bunch of terrain at my parents' house and when I'm home, this is what I crack on with in an attempt to clear the pile of shame. I got this Aegis Defence Line in 2012/13 when 6th edition mandated skyfire turrets for any army without a flyer and I never bothered to paint it. The containers I picked up on a whim from the Imperium magazine!

Finally, some Solar Auxilia for Legions Imperialis. I copied my scheme from my Aeronautica Imperialis Navy and weathered it up a bit to suit the gound forces embroiled in war during the Age of Darkness.

Sat down to take some photos of my Adeptus Titanicus Legio Atarus the other evening. They look fine from the tabletop but up close they're not amazing. I painted these to "battle ready" last year and then went through the arduous process of touching them up after assembly. The later titans I do will be better (I hope) as I don't have the same time constraints.
