I am looking to buy a Warhammer quest game to play myself & the wife. Less complicated the better.

As I understand it the choices are:

New BSF 40k
Silvertower and an expansion(?) for Silver tower.

Not sure if the ST expansion is a standalone or ST required also?

Which would people advise I get? I love games but dont have loads of time so less complex rules are better....ive heard BSF can appear complex at first with lots of rules looking up etc?

Don't know if Silver Tower is still on sale. It appears to have dropped off the GW website. You may find it at a FLGS though.

The other one you're thinking of is Shadows Over Hammerhal. It is stand-alone.

Probably mostly depends on whether you prefer the 40K or the AoS setting...

And if you want a coop or a vs. game. Hammerhal requires one person play the bad guys.
Honest if you want simplicity I'd go with Silver Tower.

GW doesn't really publish complex games. You should be fine with either, whichever aesthetic suits your fancy.

Silver Tower is the best (IMO) to start with, but definately enjoyed adding Hammerhal to it.
