Et In Arcadia Ego

Canterbury

..I've got a bit of a soft spot for it.

I caught it on late night TV years and years ago -- pre Google/internet kind of time -- so for ages and ages didn't know what the hell it was.

Wasn't until I went to uni. in the early/mid 90s and watched Fritz the cat and so forth I learnt what it was.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

Somewhere in south-central England.

I saw it years ago and enjoyed it.

Bakshi also did an interesting but incomplete Lord of the Rings which has a similar look and feel to some of it.

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Same. Tracked it down again as an adult, and wasn't really impressed, to be honest. It's pretty, but a bit tedious.

Don’t know that I’ve ever heard of it? Or at least know what it is off hand.

It's a strange post apocalypse fantasy cartoon, lifts heavily from Tolkein and couple of other things, basically the goodies are atypical tree hugging magic loving fairys and elfs whilst the baddies are steampunk orcish Nazi's, its quite pretty visually but the plot is a bit jumbled and its a smidge overlong, its worth a watch as a curiosity

Or to save you some time, I can summarise the story: War is bad, m'kay?

Although it has this guy, who is a cartoon character that is just crying out for a miniature.

BTW, wizards has a robot assassin in it called "necron 99' so gw cannot claim the term necron for a killer robot is their creation or property.
