Hi Fellow Eldar peoples.

I want to make a 1500 pt Eldar list with the below as the leader. But I have decision paralysis . I have like...tons of eldar that I can paint to field but have no idea what choose. Too may options!!

Would be good to have a little more info, but here goes nothing:

- Guardians as troops. I love to use them in my Ulthwe army, as there are a lot of stratagems to help them.
It's also a popular tactic to put a blob of 20 in to reserves and deploy them wherever you need some firepower. Combine that with the "Discipline of the black guardians" stratagem and enjoy.
- Dark reapers are excellent against pretty much anything.
- Wave serpents with shuricannons all around. Great mobility and survivability.
- Rangers for cheap troops and character sniping

I'm usually running a "themed" Ulthwe list, with 2-3 Wave Serpents, 2-3 squads of Guardians, maybe some Dire Avengers, 2 Falcons (I know the Fire Prism is better) and a Crimson Hunter Exarch.
If I have the points, I might deepstrike a squad of Fire Dragons on a suicide mission against any heavy target.

Thats a really good start. What do you like as your HQ?

I want to use this mini as my HW cause shes awesome.

Would you Recommend a Farseer or an Autarch?

I usually use a mix of farseers and warlocks. In larger games I replace the regular seer with Eldrad.
Their psychic powers are too good to pass. With guide + doom combo you can deal good amount of damage.

I hear that Autarch skyrunner is also good, but never used it yet.

That model could work as a farseer!

I am going to agree with others. You need to provide a better starting point.

take pen to paper, cobble a list together at 1500 points. And people can critique it from there.

As said, pick a beginning.

Choose a model/unit.
Find a synergistic (yeah, I know) unit or model to go with it.
Make it fit into a detachment, based on the unit type.
Pad it with units until full.

So, maybe start with a squad of Wraithguard,
Add a Spiritseer,
Get the Elites detachment,
Find fast or shooty units to compliment the Wraithguard.

So...Build paint a Farseer(The lady above) and 2 squads of guardians ....since i have to have troops as is ...and add some rangers to at least have a battalion.

There is no faction that can take wraith-guard as troops is there?

Some said for a good shooting list rock ulthwe and shurikan cannons to start out with. Do you concur?

Unit types cannot be changed in the 8th edition Eldar codex.
You do not have to take troop units, as the Vanguard and other detachments have different requirements.

Ahh...Chaos bezerkers get turned into troops from elites if you take them in a world eaters detachment so I thought that might apply here as well.

Would the best kit out for shooty wraith-guard be shuriken cannons? My meta is mostly MEQ

You should purchase and read the codex before planning out your army.

Wraith Knights are a lord of war (who should be much better after Chapter Approved drops and he gets a massive price drop). Wraith Lords are the medium one and are heavy support. Wraith Guard are the "little" ones and can choose between their Wraith Cannons or D-Scythes. They are an elite slot. They can also be built as Wraith Blades which are armed for melee.

Many of these questions you have can quickly be answered with a perusal of the codex.

I have the codex.

The wraithknight was just a mistype. I meant wraithguard

It is Wraithlords who can choose shuriken cannons. Wraithguard cannot take them.
If it is the Wraithlords, I'd take Starcannon against MEQ, with shuriken catapults, but that's just my opinion. Starcannon get a more reliable AP than Shuriken Cannon, but fewer shots.

I have 2 wraith lords. Based on your advice I'll build one with star cannon and one with shuriken cannon.
