Looking to make a "post-CA" list - trying to take advantage of the point drops and avoid where possible the point increases -

The deredeo's should benefit from alpha legion trait -1 hit as they are HELBRUTE's - and there is no indication that legion traits are changing from the CA leaks

I understand historically deredeos are not the most competitive option but have dropped almost 35 points a pop when loaded with the butcher cannon array. I also tried to dodge loading up on cultists with abaddon as the list is more or less objectively worse now as the point cost has gone up at least 120 points, and while it was chaos' main competitive option, was far from crushing tournament top 8's routinely even at 4ppm.... Lastly the charge FLY nerfs make heavy support slightly better as you don't have to worry (as much) about being slam captained and tied up in melee from deepstrike.

I'd love to have cultists use alpha trait to move-up prior to T1 if I go first and rapid fire with the deredeos firing from range - in the case of second turn hopefully the high number of cultist and tzaangor bodies to keep shining spears and genestealer cults off my heavy supports(?)
- aim to put pinks in deep strike so I don't have to choose between morale immune cultists and the pinks, as cultists will either die or be ToT by T2
- tzaangors in the webway vs darkmatter crystal -- would need to playtest

Deredeos vs oblits are about points neutral - but the deepstrike nerfs hurt oblits as they can't even contribute till T2 as they must more or less start in deepstrike due to low mobility and limited range (not to mention squishiness) - also deredeo should be the better choice against horde armies
Skullreaver prince because looking for more melee options and handles big guys / vehicles well.

I'm open to revising the list as needed as I own enough models but at first glance want to try to avoid the rock paper scissors of "who gets first turn" when running a LoW against other chaos / IG lists who have dominus class / volcano lance armaments.

Curious, why run daredeos over Contemptor? Contemptors are super cheap now. They get the same number of shots with dual butcher cannons. Granted the missile launcher sucks.
