So the list has lots of bodies, lots of punch, lots of speed. Probably obvious, but one KoS is getting the soul stealing artifact, and I can use CP to get more artifacts. This is with the new CA point changes. Scary fast glass cannon with AP? Or wet tissue paper?

Any thoughts? Posted this a bit ago, lots of views, no comments. Also...it’s NOT for hardcore tournaments. It’s for fun, casual play.

This is a very similar list to what I ran in a 1750 game the other week. CA has definitely breathed new life into us and I think it is an effective list!

The main issue I had was I faced two flyers, which I had no answer for other than smite or the flying DP.

I think it looks good and you should have fun with it! The only dhanges i would make would be fitting in another DPnwith wings over a KOS but KOS with point cost now is good for what you get!

I could easily drop the KoS for another DP with wings if I skipped a single banner in a unit or dropped a seeker. Although I do really like the impressive nature of a KoS streaking (pun intended) across the table with a sword that continuously heals it. Glad to hear it’s got some oomph; I don’t know if flyers are too prevelent in my local area. My buddies don’t seem to use them as of right now.

You should be fine with Keepers then. Especially if you use a model the size of the games workshop one. It’s an easily hidden behind LOS model and remember that you can charge without LOS.

My KoS is the size of half a Daemon prince on top of a Daemon prince. Lol. I followed a tutorial on here and built my own; his body is the same size as a Bloodthirster; just minus the wings.

Get a Masque of Slaanesh, she/he makes it crazy hard to kill swarms of daemonettes.

I'd take out at least a KoS if not both, they're good but not that good. 12 wounds and no armour save means it gets blasted by some low ap shots and dies turn 1, and they don't particularly do what slaanesh wants to do which is a turn 1 alpha strike and curving off into strong board control with high speed.

Seekers are slaanesh's best unit so I'd cap out your unit, and consider adding a second unit.

Add a few fiends of slaanesh to help lock down tanks since you can really struggle vs T8 units.


Lastly i'd consider giving your daemon prince sword-talon and the sword relic so he's S8 with no buffs and S9 with heralds. Never give a KOS the soulstealer, it makes them way worse.

I recently played a game running a Slaanesh and 3xHeldrake list vs Custodes 2x bikes, captain, 3 custodes infantry and loyal 32 with 2 medusa in emp wrath artillery.

I learned that chariots are actually pretty resillient (at least the exalted ones) I was running 2 with a seeker and got decent work out of them.

I also learned that everything will die. Playing CA2018 the one with intel points I managed to win on points after being tabled on turn 5... which was epic and good fun.

ITC may be difficult but I am trying a variant at an RTT this weekend.

You must have a hearld that can keep up with the seekers. They are only s3 and you will fail unless fighting cultists/guard. I am adding an index hearld on steed to keep up. (chariots also benefit from a fast hearld within 6inches for the +1S)

Oh and I second the masque... -1 to hit in fight phase for units within 6 and the +1 to hit if you get her engaged is great!

I am playing Dark elfs now. But if I put a second srmy On the table I want to run something very much like what you've got. Only with Soul Grinders instead of Chariots.

3 Soul Grinders to go with the Keeper of Secerts and Deamon Prince should give you enough big stuff to keep it on the table.

After that, Seekers, Seeker heralds and Fiends for alpha strike.
