Does someone have the quote where Magnus stopped the Rubric of Ahriman (which was destroying a planet)?

I never saw someone with that many locked threads. This is going to be the next one. When will you understand the purpose of this Forum?
You also didnt answer the question i asked you a little while ago: Do you even play 40k or are you just reading books?
This is not a book circle and this thread does not provide any material worthy of discussion.

Is there something you actually want to discuss about it? If all you want is a quote or source for it then Google is where you want to be asking the question, not here. The quote itself is unlikely to be worthy of discussion, especially IIRC and it's pretty much a throwaway line in one of the old Chaos codices.

An old friend of mine said he stopped it. I was hoping to see the quote, but alright. And it is technically a discussion.

You know sites like Lexicanum and the 40k wiki exist, right? If you're just looking for confirmation if a thing did or didn't happen those are the sites you should be looking at. You still don't seem to quite grasp what this forum is for. If you want to talk about the Rubric in this context you'd be better off asking about why Magnus stopped it, or what the effects might have been had he not stepped in. That's discussion-worthy.

Which, again, isn't what Dakka is for.
Knowing a thing exists and going to look for it is precisely why search engines exist.
Other Dakka users are not your personal online butlers.
When creating a thread, let me give you a quick guide to how to make it worthy of discussion.
-Outline your topic, avoid things that are self evident such as obvious influences or well known events with little ambiguity.
-Offer reasons why you think it was good/bad/needn't have happened/should have happened etc.
-Explain your reasons for why you think those things.
-Try and end with some sort of question so other people can respond to it.
Also, just as a broader point, try posting in other people's threads and not just your own, you are allowed and you might find trying to receive rather than simply transmit might get a better handle on how to be a contributing member of this site rather than the nuisance you're currently becoming.
You might even find you get better than >50% thread lock right.

It's from the 4th edition Chaos Marines codex, page 51.

great job!
How on earth could googling produce this result, what terms would have had to be used?
I think now this thread has met its intended purpose it could be sub opted into advice on how to find unknown quotes through Google?
Honestly I have no idea and am also guilty of asking dakka to unearth obscure snippets too.

Step 1: Google "The Rubric 40k"
Step 2: Click the Lexicanum link to " The Rubric of Ahriman" ( http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Rubric_of_Ahriman#fn_1a_back)
Step 3: Read said article.
Step 4: Stumble upon the following phrase "Eventually Magnus intervened and stopped the spell.[1a]"
Step 5: Check reference 1a; It directs you to the 4th Edition Chaos Space Marines Codex, specifically pages 50 and 51.
Step 6: Find a copy of said Codex (PDFs can be found for free online) and read the specific entry.
Step 7: Enjoy your new found knowledge.
Took me about 15 minutes from start to finish. It's not that hard folks.

I didn't have to google it. I already knew the excerpt was in the fourth edition Chaos Marine codex in Ahriman's lore. I just needed to check the page.
