I would go pure daemons but not sure I'm quite ready to commit to getting another 60 plaguebearer models yet. So the list I'm running now is still a big daemon horde but backed up with a lot of psychic support and Ahriman and his pet Leviathan dreadnought. Thinking about swapping the Leviathan for a double gat knight at some point in the future.

The reason for the Tzeentch battalion (instead of a 2nd Daemons battalion) is because I would like the option to use Cabalistic Focus with my Death Hexers which requires at least 3 Thousand Sons HQ. That combined with the extra cast for a Thousand Sons DP (instead of a Tzeentch DP) I think helps make up for the lack of Brotherhood of Sorcerers on the DP. I anticipate the Dark Matter Crystal being useful for teleporting the non-Warlord DP into the opponents backfield to potentially buff a unit of deep striking Horrors. The warlord DP and Ahriman will mainly be playing support roles for the Leviathan, with Ahriman using the 18" Death Hex + Warptime/Cabalistic Focus combo when the opportunity arises. The 2 changecasters are there for the +1 S buffs for the pinks as well as the option to use Locus of Conjuration to reroll the DP spells. The main thing I want is to be able to consistently death hex high value targets on 5s or 6s.

What do you guys think?

1998pts - 18CP

Thousand Sons Battalion
Ahriman - Death Hex, Warptime, Weaver of Fates
Thousand Sons DP - High Magister, Glamour of Tzeentch, Prescience, Dark Matter Crystal, Wings/Talons
3 x 10 Cultists
Hellforged Leviathan, 2x Butcher Cannon Arrays

Daemons Battalion
Changecaster - Gaze of Fate, Flickering Flames
Poxbringer - Miasma of Pestilence
30x Bloodletters
30x Plaguebearers
2 x 3 Nurglings

Tzeentch Battalion
Thousand Sons DP - Death Hex, Diabolic Strength, Wings/Talons
Changecaster - Infernal Gateway, Boon of Change
2 x 20 Pink Horrors
10x Brimstones, 1x Blue Horror

Only having 1 target for enemy anti-tank is going to be a quick death for the leviathan. Not sure how many points it is but you could swap for 3 exalted flamers which are characters that can hide and shoot and they would fit in your Tz. detachment.

I used Ahriman plus 2 princes also but ended up swapping the princes to sorcerers to save points as I was mainly sitting back and casting with them versus melee. Just a thought as it depends how you use yours.

Hey, thanks for the response.

I actually haven't seen the leviathan die before T3 or T4 yet due to how far back I deploy him and the fact that he becomes super buffed to T8 2++/4++ with -1 to hit due to Glamour/Weaver. I like exalted flamers and have used them before though in general I find their damage to be significantly lower compared to the leviathan over the course of a match. The leviathan basically lands 16x S8 hits every turn (BS2, reroll 1s thanks to Ahriman) while exalted flamers I've run in the past usually land 1-2x S8 hits each per turn (since only BS3), which is around 3-6x S8 hits per turn if we're running 3 of them. Furthermore, the leviathan's 36" range really helps keep it alive since the -2 to hit plaguebearer screen in front of it is usually pretty spread out and creates a ton of space. Essentially any 48" heavy weapon that wants to target the leviathan will be forced to expose itself to a charge by the 30x herald-buffed plaguebearers due to the way I deploy.

Swapping the princes to sorcerers is an interesting idea. I wonder if I'd miss having a bunch of late game bruisers to clean enemy obsec squads off of objectives though.
