Robin Williams apparently liked 40k, he had an eldar and imperial titan painted.
Anyone know any other celebs who liked it too?
Someone should tell Sylvester Stallone about sly marbo...

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.
Excerpt from "Seeress of Kell", Book Five of The Malloreon series by David Eddings.

Remember when 40k showed up in the comic strip Family Circus? It's hard to top that one.
Supposedly Billy Crystal was into 40k back in the day and gamed with Robin Williams. Steve Carell has mentioned Warhammer a few times, too. And youtube celebrity Joe Starr is a gamer and Warhammer fan.

Someone should tell Sylvester Stallone about sly marbo... Robin had multiple titans painted (he had a revenant AND a phantom Armorcast titan, as well as warhound, reaver titans ). His daughter Zelda put photos up a few months back - the entire collection will be going up for auction. He was also an avid rpg player - his favourite rpgs were cyberpunk 2020 and Paranoia ... He was a regular at a particular games store in Alameda, California in the 90s. He apparently got Billy Crystal into the game, too ( 40k). Will Smith at least used to play 40k (they closed the Sydney battle bunker for a day while he was there - his wife was filming the Matrix sequels in Sydney at the time). Vin Diesel, iirc, used to play as well. Also he's known to be a D&D nerd.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.
That is not dead which can eternal lie ...
... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Mark "Tryndamere" Merill, the co-founder of of the game League of Legends, is a Tyranids player. He's donated money to pro circuits for the game on a couple occasions, and donated $5,000 to Alex Fannel for sportsmanship reasons after Fannel lost to Tony G under shady pretenses in this year's LVO.

Ansel Elgort, from Baby Driver, Divergent and The Fault In Our Stars, is a pretty solid painter of 40k models.
As above, Will Smith, Vin Diesel and Robin Williams. Apparently the latter managed to get a bunch of people into the hobby (including Bill Murray with Eldar, and "possibly" Kirsten Dunst too).
I heard that Megan Fox used to do Orks/Orcs, but I'm not 100% sure on that. Christopher Lee, I'm pretty sure, used to collect something, but not sure if it was LOTR or something else.

Vin Diesel apparently tried to start up a D&D session on the set of Chronicles of Riddick - including Judy Dench.
And when Mongoose Publishing were producing the Babylon 5 RPG, they had an open day where they ran a one-day campaign where Claudia Christian played Ivanova.

I think I remember reading something about Gary Oldman before too. But I think he liked to collect while his kids liked to play or something like that.

While watching Frontline gaming cast on youtube couple years back, Reece had confirm a star trek(not sure which show, it might had been someone from Voyager) regular as a attendee playing the LVO, he won't mention who it was though.
