I am a Necron player and started a small SM army a year ago as an opposing force for some of my friends who were interested in getting into the hobby. I've found I really like them when I need a break from my mechanical phalanx, they don't have many gimmicks I have to remember. I've almost put together enough models for a 1,500 point list, but I'm at a loss for the peripheral wargear and how to use my command points. Looking for advice on how to make small tweaks to these lists to make them more efficient or fun without becoming too complicated. Open to Chapter Tactics, Warlord or HQ adjustments, wargear swaps, and stratagem use.
I've been running two 1000 point lists. Below are the revised lists after Chapter Approved.
List 1 - Mechanized Platoon, 1002 points
Spoiler:
HQ:
Captain, Teeth of Terra, Combi-Plasma, Imperium's Sword
Lieutenant, Combi-Plasma, Power Fist
I have a few unassembled models (Cataphractii from Calth, Devastators, Hellblasters) that I can use to bump this up to 1500 points. I've never run Terminators before, they seem like cool models.
Any glaring weaknesses in the 1500 point list? Figured I would run the officers up the board in the Razorbacks to support the Plasma and Assault Cannons. If I spent 3 CP to make him a Chapter Master, he'd benefit most units with enhanced efficiency. Wisdom of the Ancients would easily support the two Dreadnoughts with their sniping. Everything except the Razorbacks benefits from Raven Guard or, if playing Orks or Nids, Ultramarines tactics.

I’d try to keep a CC toy on the Lt. He hits on a 2+ with 3A, seems like at least a power sword is warranted.
Try to keep a HB and ML in your list. This will let you take advantage of the MW strats. Your scout bikes have one they can use situationally as well.
I might swap a razor or two for TLLC rather then TLAsC, but that depends a lot on how many knights or other heavy armor you expect to see, vs. light stuff like DE skimmers or orc trucks.
What's the preferred melee weapon on a lieutenant? Definitely have room to swap things around.
Apart from the MW stratagems, do we have any good ones? It seems they were... poorly thought out? My Necrons and AdMech have hugely helpful stratagems that I can actually plan around.
I can totally swap for twin lascannons as called for. Local group includes, Space Marines, Guard, Space Wolves, Custodes, Tau, Orks, Dark Angels, Tyranids, and Eldar. There is a single Dominus-class Knight.
