Title says it all. Gone are the days, but maybe there is someone out there that doesn't advertise, but still provides a larger discount?

Thanks in advance

Oops, title doesn't say it all and with the expired certificate at Dakka I can't edit.

Yes, GW.

Where are you on the west coast? Sometimes the best deals take place in person at the FLGS.

The maximum advertised discount is 15% off of GW products.

However, you can find numerous shops which throw in free-shipping, so this becomes a larger discount. Also, some stores have blanket additional discounts or you can earn points to their site, etc...thereby circumventing this slightly. In addition, you can find site-wide sales like eBay frequently (once or twice a month) for an additional 10-15% off your entire order.

Generally speaking, I wait for eBay sales for GW items. 15% off + free shipping + eBay discount. For example, you can get a GW $150 boxed game, shipped for $109.

True, but not often enough where I live in NorCal. Plus, I'd prefer not to pay CA sales tax (and yes, I'm aware of obligations for items bought from an out of state vendor).

Thanks, I'm aware of ebay discounts, but I'm looking for one place to make regular purchases from. I used to buy from Discount Game Store, but they don't seem to be around anymore. I was able to regularly get a 22% discount, or better, and free shipping. Looking for something in the 22-25% off with free shipping. If you can make specific recommendation here or via PM/email, please do.

Amazon usually does, I usually watch the price history on most items and have an alert system to alert me if something went on sale. (like today how i picked up the vigilius book for 40$)

Though some people probably don't like amazon, its has all major third party sellers in the us.

Your best bet is eBay, as stated already; 15% off, plus the occasional 10-15% off coupon eBay gives, and you've got a good deal!

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Due to work, I can usually only ship any sales or trades out on Saturday morning. Please trade/purchase with this in mind.

Yeah if you can wait and need a bargain ebay shops with free shipping and a coupon is the best you can do for new stuff, obviously you can do better with 2nd hand sales on ebay or Craig's List.

Usually you won't have any luck asking online as anyone doing that is against the rules and will be shut down if caught. That means that in order for people to keep getting the deals they need to keep their source quiet lest it get shut down by GW. Which means not posting it on one of the most read public 40k forums in the hobby where anyone can see it.

What you're posting here is the equivalent of saying "hello there my fellow youngsters, anyone know where I may partake in some of that devil's lettuce that is the hip thing these days?". Maybe not quite as bad, but you get the idea.

My best advice if you want to find these sources is to ask in person at your club or group. Theyll usually know a guy who knows a guy that you can order with. Once you're trusted to not be someone who will leak the info, then you can make more regular orders. That's really the only way it works, you want the bigger discounts it takes time. Honestly not much different than if you were trying to source any other less than official channel for acquiring something recently cast to the side if you catch my drift.

I don't believe that anything in your first paragraph is true. The retail agreement prohibits advertising below a set price. I believe that retailers can sell at lower prices.

Devils lettuce is legal here.

Also, anyone can PM me if they'd rather not share in public.
