So I'm aware there were Battleforce deals sold by GW last christmas, but as they didn't interest me I never really paid attention to how they sold and what happened with them. So having seen that several of them have gone "out of stock" on the UK GW website already (mostly the marine and nurgle kits) I'm wondering if these kits continue to be produced and its jsut a short term out of stock; of if GW just makes a huge bunch of them and sells them off until there are no more and last years just lasted longer on some.

Easiest way is to ask GW. Not to sound sarcastic but they would know. Ask in store and if a product is set to always have at least one in stock (in a store) then it is a constant release and not just a one-off.

True, but they can be cagey. Back when the Blood Coven kit was still on sale on the GW website I asked if it was being kept on or retired when it went out of stock and got a wishy washy "Well if its not on the site it might not be coming back" kind of reply that sort of suggested the person helping wasn't in the know (or wasn't allowed to state the future of product releases) and thus was just repeating standard info already shown on the website.

Weird. They guy that runs my local will tell you exactly if something is limited release or not. He'll simply look it up on their system and if the stock level is set to 1 (or more) then it is a standard release.

I'm not sure of the need to be cagey. We have a similar system at work on an app that can check stock levels and next delivery dates for customers. It's literally just looking up a product and sounds like someone just couldn't be arsed to do it.

Element Games seem to think they’re getting more stock soon.

GW doesn't continue these sorts of sets... They crank them out around holidays to get rid of overstock. My Advice? If you want it, get it now and sit on it until your ready to either work it, or sell it.

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.

The Battleforces once sold out wont be coming back instock.

Also Kill Team Starter is no longer available for me(flgs) to order and will soon be gone forever when the webstore supply runs out.

It would be really odd for the Kill Team starter to go out forever, given it's massive popularity (been out of stock for about 3 months) and now when it's back, retailers can't order more than 1 copy each week to keep the supply in check.

The battleforces just sell out. It kinda makes sense that the less popular ones stay for a while. Like the old WoC box.

The Primaris Interdiction Force has gone NLA on Element Games now, so safe to assume at least that one won’t be returning to sale.

Ad Mech, Fists and Death Guard have all gone unavailable on Element Games as well. Looks like there’s a lot less, or they’ve sold a hell of a lot better this year than the 2017 ones.

I'd wager record sales considering that they've been doing that for a while and Marines always sell strongly!

Thankfully the Daughters of Khaine kit has remained in stock and I've now nabbed the one I want. Kind of wish it had been out half a year ago as I would have made some savings (without meaning to I've basically wound up with the contents of 4 battleforces). Still I'm not bitter at all its a fantastic deal and through my own money and a gift I've gotten two this winter so that's set me up really well.

Feel sorry for the marine players who are now running out of chances; though hopefully all those AoS extra battleforces will tempt more to take the dive into fantasy!

I was interested in 5 of the 6 40k ones (not after the Eldar one), and took a tactical guess that the Necron one would be the best to get last, and it seems I was right, hopefully it'll still be around at the end of the month so I can nab another.
