Hiya all,

Just got a question to you all about the Games Workshop online shop. Haven't ordered from there in a while so I'm lost regarding the implications of things being merely out of order,
or discontinued. I was just browsing for the "Mark IV Space Marines" kit, and it said it was "No Longer Available Online". The same item seemed to be hard to find in other online
web stores too, so my first feeling was one of panic since I need to buy a couple of them for my 30k Thousand Sons army. Tell me it's just a temporary thing, and that they will be
restocked?!

It probably be restocked, or its been removed entirely.

You can always contact Gamesworkshop about it on their webservice they are very good at responding to these inquiries.

'No longer available' would generally mean that it's gone. Although with GW, that may just mean '...in its current form'. When they update boxes, the new box usually gets a new code, so the old one will go OOP, and will at some point be replaced with the new version.


Having said that, these are oldmarines, and a side-line at that, so I wouldn't expect to see them return.

I'll try to contact them then. Just feels funny if the whole Horus Heresy line is depending on MK IV and MK III armor, and then GW just stops producing
the core figures for all the Forgeworld "upgrade kits". At least when it comes to MK IV... In that case, the whole Horus Heresy line should be on its way "out".
But since they still make new releases, like the new Blood Angels stuff, I have a hard time seeing the logic in disposing of the backbone of the army hehe...

Or is this the replacements? Doesn't specify the "make" though....

The Mark III & IV Marines went off sale a little while ago (No Longer Available / Temporarily out of stock). The reply from GW was that they're getting re-boxed to match the other Marine boxes, but some 30k players are screaming "GW is killing 30K" and some 40k players are screaming "No more non-Primaris Marines" .

That's mostly 7, but with some 6 & 8 elements.

Confirmed? Just got a reply from GW saying they could say nothing about this since the design team was tight-lipped about it.....
Anyhow, I found 5 boxes on eBay fortunately, and they weren't that much more expensive. So I have what I need for the moment.
It's just a bummer to be forced to pay that much in one go Needs to put off buying an airbrush till much later this year.
Well you can't do everything I guess.

Guess I just need to buy up everything for the army as fast as I can, so Forge world don't do anything funny all of a sudden.

They should have some kind of alert system on both sites so that people didn't get these unwanted surprises all of a sudden.
