Hail Dakka Dakka,

Instagram: @stevefamine

I do not take commissions. I paint for a handful of local friends and I have set aside 4 years to work on my own backlog.

This is some 2019 work:

I'm tempted to just order a fat mat as my condo doesnt have room for a 6x4 honestly. Might make two separate 4x4s or get a mat

Those tau really look like they've been in the wars! You've got a really good vibe going there. I suspect they are regretting the choice of white for their livery....

Its easier to paint battle damaged white than fully clean! Its also the style I paint for most models

Quick Campfire for Dungeons and Dragons

Cut a piece of plasticard out, tossed a few bits down, made some bedrolls out of paper towels, added sand and a few rocks. Added the flame and wood and proceeded to try out my new airbrush. Fun test piece

I need to whip up about 13 models in the next two days. A unit of Blood Gorgers and a unit of 3 mechanic looking mercenaries for Cryx

I also need to design the tile sets for my D&D encounters for the campaign I'm DM'ing come March.

I need to make a small beach tileset of shallow water, a jungle tileset, and a flat grass tileset - but all at NIGHT / dark blues/dark colors

Love all the scenery - interested to see where the predator goes. Must be somewhat daunting to work on such a large (and rare) model.

Ooh, I see now. Great job on the predator. A really striking scheme and love the light-work on it

Awesome! I thought it might be one of the older kits. I have one from when I was younger. Very similar, but no mask and no spear. Has the disc instead. Love how yours is turning out.

Primed it - I'll post pictures tonight of the entire 3d dungeon layout

Added torches, cleaned up the sides a bit, and I'm getting ready to paint the stone before I start the OSL fire

Dungeon is going to cost me around $10-15 and 3-4 hours into it now for a half dozen hallways and a few encounter rooms. Next up is airbrushing the osl torches and pigments. Maybe two hours of painting left

Keen to see more progress on your Dungeon, always liked having a 3D element to DnD! Love the map too, it looks great!

Keep it up! You've got quite a few marines to go through!
