I know the Contemptor, Leviathan, Deredeo and the super heavy vehicles of the 30k universe can be taken into a 40k game as a Relic of War or a Sacred Relic... I can't remember the right terminology, I apologise.

But I was wondering what infantry I could possibly take? I'd love to get some feedback on rule books that say what I can take and any suggestions here as well! Because I've fallen in love with a Moritat model from Forgeworld and well I am making a very fluffy Luna Wolves army that I can use in 40k.

Cheers

Use a moritat as a vanguard vet for sure.

I think you can use anything that has a legal weapon really. People definitely bought Burning of Prospero for 40k (in fact it’s probably the primary driver of sales for that box).

Really it’s only some of the specific HQs like praetors that have non legal 40k loadouts that you can’t take, but nothing is stopping you from doing extremely minor conversions to make the models work.

I’m actually in the process of painting Gorgon Terminators myself to use as plain old terminators, since they’re just modified Indomitus Pattern.

I use the Kalibrax autocannons with the Heresy armour guys for havocs. I'm gonna be using some MK3&4 dudes for havocs as well. It's

They are so cool! One near future addition for me are Mk. 4 marines with Kalibrax autocannons, as the autocannons became quite efficient choice after CA. Can't wait!

I could give you a list of what models could be easily used to represent profiles that already exist, but the common-sense rule is to consider whether a unit can be concisely described as "model in (armour type) with (weapon)". Salamanders Firedrakes, for instance, are "Terminators with thunderhammer and storm shield", which is a profile that's in the Space Marine book, while Pyroclasts are "model in power armour with a flame projector", which is a weapon that doesn't exist in the 40k book, so using them is iffier.
