Personally Iam very excited for the game. That trailer looked great and if they can bring back wide open maps I’ll be a happy man. Plus Halo 5 ended on a pretty big cliffhanger so it’s hard not be curious about where they go.

But Iam curious what the grapevine is on the game. It’s been a long time since Halo was king and Iam not sure how many modern gamers are interested or even aware of Halo. Iam not sure it’s just nostalgic old timers like me who still buy Halo for campaign.

I tuned out after 2. I figured they'd jettisoned the series long ago in favor of density or whatever.. Are they doing an mmo now or something?

The original Halo remains one of my favorite games of all time, actually played through the campaign with my lady a couple weeks ago too. I was pretty lukewarm on 2 and 3, but loved Reach and 4. I couldn't even finish the campaign for Guardians. Pretty sure I'm done with the series at this point.

Depends on if it's released on PC or not. If it's not, meh, whatever. If it is, sure I'm interested. I don't own an xbox, and prefer KBnM. But I'm always for a good sci-fi shooter.

I'm curious. We still haven't seen enough to call it excited, but I like they are taking their time with this one.

I trust 343I to make a good multiplayer, and that is like 90% of my play time so I will likely play it.

As for campaign, I'm more of a wait and see, but as long as it is fun I will play it at least until I finish it on Legendary.

I haven't really loved Halo beyond the first one. I'm also not a big online shooter guy.

Haven't played the series since I sold my 360 years ago, and since 4 and 5 aren't available on PC and Infinite will almost certainly be a Win10 and Microsoft Store exclusive should it be made available, I doubt that will change.

Bungie parted ways with the series after Halo: Reach. 343 Studios was spun off to work on the Halo games, and is a subsidiary of Microsoft.
