Hello everyone! So me and a friend are entering this doubles tournament this weekend at the FLGS and i just had a couple questions.

Some general info on the tourney: 1000 points per player/2k total, 3 games - missions out of new CA, command points are shared, character effects/auras etc can be shared if keywords match [eg: re roll 1's on SM captain wont work on allied necrons, but will work on allied SM]. Im using SM, mostly primaris, and my friend is using Necrons.

1) neither of us have played against these armies and wanted some general advice/what to expect against them.
1 a) orks
1 b) Tyranids
1 c) Eldar [both kinds]
1 d) demons [i assume the rest of chaos is fairly similar to space marines/Guard
1 e) there are others we haven't played against before like Custodes/sisters/knights but they are all imperium and im somewhat know what to expect for them so not to worried there.

2) Army thoughts. As SM i was just thinking bring lots of plasma and rerolls possibly new Calgar. I think my friends necrons are has a decent balance already so more interested in how to help support the necrons! [his list has - Warriors, destroyers, tomb blades, couple named lords.] PS: not looking for full list ideas, just some advice =)
