Hey guys, noticed some points changes recently and decided to make a new tornament list. Please take into account that I will be fighting anything from Knights to Nids so I mostly just want to focus on having a good time. Any advice will be greatly appreciated and I look forward to see what you guys have to say.

BATTALION DETACHMENT
HQ
-Librarian Dreadnought (Wings, Quickening) + Heavy Flamer = 154
-Lemartes = 100

TROOPS
-Scout Squad (5 men) + 5 Bolt Guns = 55
-Scout Squad (5 men) + 5 Bolt Guns = 55
-Scout Squad (5 men) + 5 Bolt Guns = 55
-Scout Squad (5 men) + 5 Bolt Guns = 55

DEDICATED TRANSPORT
-Razorback + Twin Lascannon + Storm bolter = 112
-Razorback + Twin Lascannon + Storm bolter = 112
-Razorback + Twin Lasannon = 110

VANGUARD DETACHMENT
HQ
-Mephiston (Quickening, Wings, and Rage) = 160

ELITES
-Sanguinary Guard Ancient: Warlord + Encarmine Sword + Plasma Pistols + Standard of Sacrifice = 83
-Sanguinary Guard (6 men) + 6 Powerfists + 6 Plasma Pistols = 204
-Death Company (12 men) + Jump Packs + 10 Chainswords and Boltguns + 2 Thunderhammer = 272
-Agressors (6 men) + 6 Boltstorm & Fragstorm Gauntlets = 222

=1749pts

I'm pretty much fine with changing out the Agressors, Liby Dread, and one of the scout squads so if you think that those points would be better used for something else please let me know. Thanks for the help and your all awesome

Why 4 scout squads ? You only need 3. Invest those 55 pts. into SG or DC.

Hey p5freak, I just thought that 5 scouts and more importantly their bolters would be more useful tactically than two DC or one SG.

I noticed you have no captn slamguinius, big mistake. Here is my suggestion. DC bolt pistols should be boltguns.

The captn is able to kill whatever you attack with him. The usual strategy is to deepstrike him, play the 3D6 charge strat (it would be useful to give him angels wings), and red rampage before you fight. Unleash rage is fine too. If your target is still alive you can play the fight again stratagem (remember red rampage and/or unleash rage is still active), or wait next turn, until your opponent strikes back, and if he kills your captain, you play only in death does duty end.
