I'm curious, how exactly do Daemons and Chaos Space Marines view each other in 40K? I know that within the armies of each god, they are technically allies, but the nature of Chaos does not exactly foster friendship and comradery. From what I know, Khorne, Nurgle, and Tzeentch marines see Daemons as highly effective tools to be used in battle, and do have respect for some of the greater Daemons and sometimes worship Princes. The Thousand Sons use Daemons, but from what I know, alot of them are resentful of them and Tzeentch for betraying and enslaving them. The Iron Warriors and Night Lords don't seem to want to have much to do with them, though in the third Ultramarines book, Daemons did patrol Medrengard and Honsou used the Heart of Blood as a fuel source. Also, the NL have made pacts on occasion with Chaos to strike at their enemies. Noise Marines I think see Daemons both as allies and (possibly) use Daemonettes for sexual pleasure. The Black Legion and the Word Bearers I think have strong relationships with Daemons, with the Word Bearers seeing them as angels of sorts. On the other side, all I know is the many Daemons look down on Daemon Princes due to Princes having once been mortals, and Tzeentch Daemons are constantly trying to manipulate the Thousand Sons for their own ends and vice versa. Are there any examples showing just how CSM and Chaos Daemons perceive and treat each other?

I mean, you pretty much just listed out all the viewpoints. It depends between the various factions.

Generally all Chaos Marknes have a superiority complex. They think they are greater than daemons. They also despise weakness, and consider any Slave to Darkness a weakness and a flaw.

Very few trust them, and the ones that do, or are willing to become posessed are considered foolish for doing so.

But then again, you have Death Guard who call nurglings "the little lords" affectionately, and Emperors Children that court Daemonettes as dancers and handmaidens.

I doubt you'll find any Word Bearers saying Daemons are "weak".

Iron Warriors or World Eaters on the other hand...

Oh this is too true. In the Azrael short audio book where Khan and Az have their battle. Towards end there's a Changeling that Az leaves bound as he knows Khan is coming. The deamon then proceeds to soil itself at the knowledge of this.

It swings wildly from warband to warband and legion to legion. For instance, the now defunct Crimson Slaughter warband were locked into a campaign of vengeance against a very powerful greater deamon of Tzeentch. They pretty much will attack tz demons on site (sight...get more sleep table).
