Anyone know if the new imperial armour books were ever available in hardcover format?

Which ones? All the Imperial Armour books (except the very first volumes for 3rd edition which were just rules with minimal fluff) were hardcover, but the Index books for 8th edition are not.

The most recent release of the 4 books. Looks like they were never hardcover.
