Anyone know the size difference between these two, or have a picture of them side by each?
Wondering if converting a Triaros into a Macrocarid would be copecetic.

No pictures, but I've seen them side by side and the Triaros is ~1-2" longer, ~0.5-1" taller, and ~1-2" narrower. If you were going to do that conversion the easiest approach would probably be trying to plasticard the hull out wider, maybe add some sort of walkway in between the track and the middle bit? Doors would probably take the Sicaran/Deimos single-lascannon sponsons better than the boxy ones off the IIB Predator.

As per the Tag book, early crusade Macrocarids were based on the Proteus, but later ones became more esoteric, with unique hulls being used as more forges were brought into the fold.

So, I'm thinking I can just replace the gears at the back with smoke stacks, the Volkite sentinels with Irradiation Engines, and it should be pretty much good to go.
