So we know about when thing happen simultaneously the controlling player chooses the order.

But what about the opposite. Things not happening simultaneously. I shall explain.

I cannot for the life of me remember the exact name (please someone note it as i cannot find it) but Tyranids have a ability that make enemies attack after all other eligible units have fought.

Dark Angels however have a relic that make enemy characters attack, again, "after all other eligible units have fought".

So in the situation where these would be in close proximity of one another and there was a NID character there too. Who gets to attack before who because things here are ceasing to happen, they aren't happening simultaneously so RAW the game breaks?

I would believe it's still controlling players choice but I'm interested to hear thoughts.

You're thinking of the Tyranid Psychic Power called Paroxysm.

This is still still a sequencing issue, there are two effects that are supposed to happen at the same time.

So yes the active player chooses the order.

What Stux said. If both say after all eligible units have gone, then after all eligible units have gone you'd have all the other units simultaneously becoming available to fight. At that point you're back to it being a sequencing issue.
