for all your turtle minis needs (there seem to be an awful lot of proprietary dice gameplay wise, but other than that I haven't looked to hard at it)

I feel like there was a TMNT KS somewhat similar to this one not that long ago?

There was one a few years ago from the same company. The biggest gameplay difference I see is the old game needs a player to be the villains whereas this one has rules to give the villains an "AI".

There was. I almost backed it, then didn’t. My wife and I saw it in a comic store recently, and I told her I almost bought it when it was on Kickstarter. The response was “why didn’t you?!” Maybe I should talk to her about this one. We’re both big TMNT fans.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Due to work, I can usually only ship any sales or trades out on Saturday morning. Please trade/purchase with this in mind.

Wow, really expensive buy-in. Two different $125 pledges that don't include any stretch goals....and of course contain different popular characters so you have to get the $250 to get them all. No thanks, I'll just stick with the first edition.

Very pricey and likely too rich for me.
I do wonder why three iterations of turtles are needed.
The models certainly look better than the last Kickstarter. Hopefully they will be without the seriously erratic scales of the last iteration.

Yeah, it feels like a bit too much turtle power for me (and I was a fan as a kid of the comics, toys, movies, and the cartoon). Multiple kickstarters from iirc different companies over the past couple of years plus the various clix set releases scratch that itch already IMO. IDW, if various youtube videos that cover their financial statements report are to be believed, is pretty desperate for money now though as their media ventures don't seem to have taken off and their comics aren't doing so well either so I guess I understand why they're lather/rinse/repeating TMNT so soon.
