Hi!
I am about to attempt my first conversion works and am asking for your advice.
I have the battle of pelennor fields set which features a mounted nazgul and witch king but no dismounts (very clever GW), I am a poor student so I'm not about to pay GW prices for the metal models but I have a crafty plan.
I was going to use oyumaru/blue stuff and green stuff/resin to mold and cast the arms and heads of the nazgul. I was going to mold and cast the body of another model (one that looks nazgul like) and replace the arms and head with the casts of the nazgul before finally using green stuff to fill in the gaps and sculpt the cloak/robe of the nazgul.
I am wondering if you guys have any advice for models which would be easy to mold, cast and convert for nazgul bodies.
My current thoughts are saruman, perhaps the plastic moria aragorn and/or gandalf the grey? any suggestions?
