Hey man there's nothing wrong with the units you're taking but it's not a legal list. You need 2 hqs and 3 troops choices for a battallion. And the 5CP from each battallion are a powerfull part of the game now.

Also you can field daemons and world eaters together in a detachment with the KHORNE keyword but I wouldn't. They loose legion traits from both daemons and world eaters.

You could take something like.

I'd strongly consider taking autocannons instead of the heavy bolters on your CSM squads at the very least - as it stands, right now you've got pretty much zero anti-tank anything in your army, which is a very real concern at 1500pts. Autocannons are cheap, but Lascannons are what you'd really need to look at for ranged anti-tank. If you wish to keep the Khorne theme, perhaps look at a Helbrute with TL Lascannon and either a Missile Launcher, Power Scourge or Helbrute Fist. Dealers choice

I was thinking of dropping the bikes and one bloodletter squad. Would give me enough points for a hellbrute, one squad upgraded to two lascannon, a who new squad with two lascannon and an exalted champion.

Run what you're running currently to get back into the hobby. It's a good list and is perfectly fine in 'open play' and 'narrative' variants of the game with friends, this is a great list. 8th ed is quite a busy ruleset and it'll be a bit of a learning curve (specifically because the rules are spread out around 6/7 different books/codexes/erratas etc.)

However, for the list to be valid in 'matched play', 40k's competitive variant that most people stick to for balancing etc. you'll need to be aware of/change a few things for the future.

In 40k now units have keywords, your CSM will have the 'chaos', 'chaos space marine', '<Legion>' (which for you would be world eaters), 'khorne' keyword and so on. To make a fully legal matched play these keywords need to coincide. This also lets you get various boons. These keywords are hierarchical too, so as you see it, it goes chaos>chaos space marines>world eaters>Khorne and so on. The problem with this list is your mixing units without the 'chaos space marine' and '<legion>' keywords with units that do. Broadly speaking, for a faction keyword to apply all the units in a detachment have to have the keyword. They only have 'chaos' as a keyword in common and so that's the only one that applies. In effect, what this means is you don't currently get any bonuses for being a World Eaters chaos space marine faction, which for World Eaters is granting +1 attack on the charge AND counting Berzerkers as Troops.

Although Bloodletters (& other daemon troops) are included in the CSM codex, this is generally for summoning purposes, which is a separate rule that applies outside of your force creation. If you want me to elaborate on that I will .

I would recommend separating this list out into two detachments, a Chaos>Chaos Space Marine>World Eaters detachment and a Chaos>Chaos Daemon>Khorne detachment. These detachments can ally because they both share the 'Chaos' keyword.

Doing this will let you take Berzerkers as troops, I would recommend doing this and dropping some space marines or using them as Havocs so you can get more heavy weapons in there. And if you want to go big you can chuck in a Bloodthirster as the leader of your daemon detachment.
