So Necron Command Barges are a legal thing and I'm looking for a better way to deal with them and the relic they can take to redeploy themselves right up in my lines. I'm considering the new Detachment from Vigilus so if I get a round of shooting I may be able to blow it off the table turn in one go. I have a lot of other models but all space marines. Any thoughts on this or do I chuck it up to a loss?

I like the more Plasma the better. The unfortunate part of surfing the shooting of the round they port to you. If I lose the role of immortals have to get pretty unlucky to not remove half the unit.

true. It depends if you can deploy them in cover or not really before the game starts. Trouble is with such small armies you may have to fight against say, a couple dreadnoughts and a HQ choice, and if you do and you do not have any anti armour like hellbasters, your interssors and scouts will barely make a scratch unless you get in rapid fire range, but then the dread will charge and shred you in CC.

Maybe take 5 hell blasters and a few interssors. Although then its easier to loose all the helbasters in one go, so pros and cons man. Its a tricky.
