I'm trying to convert a mob of 5 Nobs with kombi-scorchas ,
to have the classic Fire Helmet appearance

they are the riders in my BigTrack (armed with 4x Skorchas...)
(Painted Red like a Fire Engine, of course...)

so of course they are the Fire Department!

anyone have any ideas where to find some helmets?
(I am HORRIBLE at green stuff, so not able to make them)

Playmobile helmets might be about the right size. Or some other dollar store.fire toy.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Kromlech does "Iron Reich Ork Heads with Gasmasks". You might be able to file/sand/cut away the eagle crest on the helmet, which would leave you with Ork heads with helmets and gas masks, which isn't exactly 'old school' fire helmets, but would look relatively appropriate.

You could look for cheap plastic firefighter toys (like the classic green army men, but firefighters), chop off the helmeted part of the head, then flatten the top of a boy's head and glue them together.

Legi minifig helmets might work too, though it might not be cost effective to get a bunch of them.
