I searched through the subforum and was a bit surprised that there wasn't a thread ever mentioning Mass Effect given that the realistically scaled minis for Infinity seem to be a great stand in for humans in that scifi setting. I'm superficially familiar with the Infinity line from looking in the News and Rumors thread as new releases have come out over the years but I most certainly don't consider myself knowledgeable to any degree.

Does anyone have any suggestions for figs to use as is or to convert for Mass Effect characters? Human, aliens, and everything in between. I find myself drawn to the heavy armors like PanO Orcs and Mobile Brigadas for humans in armor but I'm less familiar with the other types that are less bulky and maybe even more appropriate. Typically I find something that I like (for example a PanO Hospitaller Knight's pose) but something else ruins it partly for me (like having the obvious relgious themed robes on that fig) or sometimes goofy action poses (in the case of Orcs). Ideas?

Thanks! I wasn't aware of those. I opted to instead upload my own to shapeways and printed out a couple.

The new Shasvastii models are pretty good stand-ins for Turians.

The female Tohaa could easily be Asari.

The male Tohaa could be good for Vells.

Although not perfect, the Kaauri could work for Salarians.

Corax, Gao-Raels and Clipsos could be Quarians.

Sogarat kinda work as Krogan, as do the Xeodrons.

Hungries work as Vorcha.

Unidrons could work as Geth.

The Caskuda could be a Yahg.
