Got an army of at least 5K points or more? Come forth and show off your collection!

Lets see those vast swarms of Tyrainds; those legions of Space Marines; the rank and file of Bretonians; the puss oozing Nurgle and more!

And if you've not got a 40K or AoS/Fantasy army then come show off your supersized army/collection from another range! Vast fleets from Firestorm; Infinity armies not just a skirmisher or two etc....

The whole aim is to get a chance to show off your big collections - so lets see them!

Imperial Guard
Necromundian Guard

I have added another 20 Guardsmen since these shots were taken.

Elysians (might not be 5000 points, but they are still Guardsmen)
Completed Army:

Orks

I have added 10 more Stormboyz, 20 more Boyz, another Warlord, Weirdboyz, and a few others since those shots.

Sisters of Battle

I have added 2 Canonesses and 2 Gemina Superia since that shot.

Eldar

I have added Asurmen, Jetbike, 3 War Walkers since that shot

Tau (might not be 5000 points)

I have added some of the larger models since that shot.

All those are from my painting logs and linked in my signature to see close up pictures.

Cheers,

CB

My combined Daemon army (all from one codex) is about 10,000pts. No joke. No pics, atm, I’m not home for like a week!

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Some great armies in this thread!

I have no idea how many points my Praetorians actually cost, but pretty certain I can clear the 5k mark.

The Ikea ones that are frequently recommended should work fine for smaller armies. I could probably use one myself. Need to get the stemware off the top shelf so it can be annexed for the glory of the Ultramarines. Or my Eldar/deathwatch/undead could move out of the glass fronted bookshelf (which is nice, but not the same). I would never have purchased a full china cabinet for my minis, but I got half the furniture in the divorce, and it wasn’t all ratty crap from the basement.

Here is a more recent picture of my collection.

I had to kick the deathwatch out, as they are a growing faction. If I add much more to my Ultras, I’m going to have to move some of the older never used stuff to another local/boxes. How many tactical squads do I need at the ready? The answer is probably less the 9, which is where I’m at.

Edit: Re-did my roster with the latest points and adding the stuff I’ve painted recently. Roughly 13,147 points of Ultras on the shelf in stock deployment.

This is definitely a very cool thread, I'm loving these photos. Great collections guys!

I don't meet the requirements in finished models, but I've got enough unbuilt/unpainted to get there with a couple of armies. My Salamanders are at 3K painted out of 5K total. My Biel-Tan are at about 2.5K finished, out of 10K total. I'll endeavour to get them up to standard to post here.

Are we talking fully painted? if So I'm almost there, just have another 750ish pts to finish for my Salamanders. Need to get everything out and take a pic.

Everyone's stuff looks great.

5,000 pts?

My Imperial Guard (excluding Inquistion & Sisters & Knights) used to be over 5,000 pts, but I sold off some stuff, and it's now down to 4,500 pts.

My "pure" WFB Dogs of War is only 4,000 pts, but it's a good 'un.

OTOH, my Craftworld Eldar are still easily 8,000 pts so I'm still a member! I probably ought to filter that down to something closer to 5,000 pts than 10,000 pts.

Here's my contribution to the thread. I actually have three armies over 5000 points (Dark Angels, Tau, and Chaos Space Marines) but I only have a picture of the Dark Angels handy. Here it is:

It's kind of a crappy photo as I took it on my phone a little while back. And the models aren't all painted like some of the other excellent collections in this thread, but I'm pretty proud of them nonetheless. There's over 11k points on that repurposed bookshelf, and I don't even want to think about how much money is represented there...

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/1/23, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~15000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Adeptus Custodes: ~1900 | Imperial Knights: ~2000 | Sisters of Battle: ~3500 | Leagues of Votann: ~1200 | Tyranids: ~2600 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000
Check out my P&M Blogs: ZergSmasher's P&M Blog | Imperial Knights blog | Board Games blog | Total models painted in 2023: 40 | Total models painted in 2024: 12 | Current main painting project: Dark Angels

Can't get photos as I had to leave most of my stuff back home when I moved out but I probably have around 25-28k of Imperium.

Background, I've been playing for at least 10 years and besides a small 1500 Necron army that I accidentally wrecked, and a very recent venture into Tau, I've always played Imperium of some variety. Alltogether it comes to approx:

3k Raven Guard
4k Imperial Guard
3k Knights
2.5k Skitarii
2k Grey Knights
2k Blood Angels
6k Titanicus
2.5k Custodes
1k of various extras such as Assassins and Inquisitors

Sydney, Australia

Adding points together on my 40k stuff and I've sold off a large majority of it, but somehow I still have a little bit over 4000 points of stuff. 3000 of that is Dark Angels alone (with not a single tactical marine to be seen, it's almost all Deathwing/Ravenwing), the rest being my Baneblade, Assassins and various other bits and bobs. However, for the skirmish games I play I own entire factions worth of stuff, going way over the normal game size for pretty much everything. A standard game of Batman is 350 points, I own 5214 points of Brave and the Bold, 600 points of Amazons, 350 points of Watchmen, 785 points of Bane, 1002 points of League of Assassins (with 350 more on preorder) and 1569 points of miscellaneous other villains that can be used in my non-hero crews. I've attached pictures of my Batman collection below, remarkably most of it is actually painted! Malifaux, where the standard game size is 50 points, I own roughly 900 points across Outcasts, Ten Thunders and Resurrectionists and 10 different masters, so I can quite comfortably run 5 games at once with just my own stuff.

I've also got almost a full Helleniki faction for Arena Rex(but that's only 4 models), 750 points of LotR Grey Company and Army of the Dead and a full Skaven Blood Bowl team, but as they aren't huge collections, merely playable, they're not nearly as worth nothing, and I've only chosen to do so for completeness' sake.

This is a great collection, but I have to ask, why are ALL of the side armor plates upside-down? The front corner will snag on any obstacle, while the rear of the troop/engine compartment is exposed.

Aside from that, I love the classic Griffon and Hellhounds, along with the Destroyer. I was a little disappointed not to see a Thunderer or Demolisher in the mix, and surprised you didn't have a Valkyrie in the mix - it's a great kit!
