The stars have aligned, the time is drawing near, and after either 15 years (since Codex Witch Hunters) or 22 years since Codex Sisters of Battle the time (might) finally come for PLASTIC SISTERS!!!!!1ONE!!!

We have been fooled before.

So now for some completely false and made up rumors that are 100% as accurate as anything on Spiky Bits or Bell of Lost Souls.

1 - There will be a small retcon to the army, henceforth they will be known as the Brothers of Battle. No new models but you can use your Secundus Marines to represent them.

2 - The new plastic Sisters will actually be made of metal. And be one pose. And actually just reuse the sculpts from 22 years ago. And a squad will cost $75.

3 - After a perilous quest for a lost STC the Sisters have discovered... a second hair style!

4 - Three words: Adeptus Sororitas Primarus

5 - 20% more leather fetish.

6 - The sophisticated undercuts required for the sleeves requires the use of prohibited 4th dimensional geometry from the Liber Nemo Euclid. Unfortunately this results in the whole of Nottingham being sucked through a porthole into a netherhell.

7 - Sister Squads must be accompanied by a male priest known as a Frater Interpres whose job is explaining what's going on what they should do. If the Frater Interpres is killed the Sisters stand around and do nothing because they can't possibly understand things on their own.

8 - Roboute Guilliman learns about #metoo to his eternal regret.

9 - Special act of faith gives Sister squads a 3++ and -4 AP. Available only to people who made an all metal SoB army prior to 2019.

Close, lead. The $75k is for insurance premiums down the road a bit.

6 - Have you been to Nottingham? It is already in a netherhell!

7 - For 2 CPs you can use the 'Mansplaining' strategy, Sisters get to re-roll all bolter and melta weapon category misses as the penny finally drops on how to use them properly.

The above is meant in jest so no triggered rants please.

The codex turns out to be underwhelming and dull and even though the new models look great, the lack of any real gameplay reason to rush out and get the new hotness means they see relatively tepid sales and Sisters of Battle never get a new model or codex for the rest of time. GW blames lack of demand and insufficient player feedback.

But, in the list building phase, if your knights or other male units identify as female, they are unaffected.

I heard that if you paint your Imperial Knights white they can use acts of faith...

GW bought all Prodos's games Space Crusader miniatures and just repackaged them as "Adepta Sororitas".

There is also a package of napkins in the box, just in case...

Sisters Players will be happy with the codex.

Why use metal when there's finecast?

Sisters will receive a comprehensive range of multi-part plastic kit updates for all their units, featuring lots of customisation and highly variable poses, masses of wargear options, a Canoness kit rivaling the old SM commander box, a few extra unit types including an elite power sword melee unit, and otherwise remain fairly close to their previous look and feel. They will also be event-exclusive at the next Games Day, be highly limited in supply and will not be available again after that.

The Sisters codex will come with a section containing church hymns which must be sung everytime an exorcist is fired, an act of faith is used, or Celestine does anything. Unique tactical objectives will also require hymn singing, IRL book-burnings, or 1-year overseas missionary voyages to score.

All of the new orders have taken vows of silence. In order to gain access to stratagem and acts of faith you must maintain strict silence during all games. This includes needing to use foam dice to ensure no harshrattles. Coincidentally, GW start selling soft-roll foam dice for £50 per pack of 10, at a mark up of around eleventy gazillion %. All new sisters minis are embedded with rfid sensors to ensure that any foam dice in the vicinity are geniluine GW dice otherwise the models all melt.

All mentions of them in their codex are typoed into 'bittle of saster'.

Inquisition will be released alongside the Sisters of Battle Codex.

Ofcourse there will also be an upgrade to Sororitas, for 1-2ppm you can increase the size and thanks to the heavier weight now the soroita turns into a more stable gun plattform, gaining +1 on their BS.
