I've been thinking of what Destruction Factions could appear in future, and what could happen to current ones. Here's what I got:

Grotbag Scuttlers/Gitmob: I know that the model line of the latter has just been discontinued, but they are still mentioned in the Gloomspite Gitz book, so it's possible that they just might come back one day, reinvented. As for the former, they are frequently mentioned in the fluff and seem to be the arch enemies of the Overlords, so I could well seem them appearing one day.

I think they could be grouped together under a Gloomspite style superbook. The Scuttlers are easy; flying grot pirates. The gitmob? How about looking to that Mortal Engines movie for some inspiration? The Gitmob could roam the Realms in big ramshackle machines raging in size from a chariot all the way up to a city! Like a Snotling Pump wagon on steroids.

In contrast to the Gloomspite Gitz, who are shamanic and close to 'nature' with the mushrooms and spiders etc., this second Grot superbook could be more 'steam punk' (or clock punk?). Grot made machines riding around the place, shooting off mad weapons and running down the foe. For motivation, I'd look at the Death Skullz of 40k for inspiration. These grots are all about Lootin. Lootin for spare parts, lootin for better gear, lootin for the hell of it!

Greenskins/Ironjawz/Bonesplittaz: Since these factions are all united by the Waaagh, I would bet money on them all being united together under a Beasts Of Chaos style super book. Again, although regular Greenskins have been discontinued, I'm sure that they could come back in some shape or form. I think it's important to maintain a 'default' version of things for the others to be compared to. If I was designing them, I'd make them like cheaper, unarmored versions of Ardboyz. Less armor, less attacks, but otherwise the same weapon loadout. Just a shame that the boarboyz were discontinued.

Ogors: These guys are tricky. I don't know if the Beastclaw Riders and Gutbusters should be merged together again, or remain separate. I just don't know. Probably the latter, tbh.

What about you guys? What do you want them to do with Destruction?
