Hello everybody,
After a three year break from 40k I came back to find my love for nurgle has kinda vanished with all the new models and changes. But iám very excited to start a new armylist with the focus on Black legion and or World eaters (maybe even alpha legion). A lot has changed in 8th edition and I feel very lost and would like to ask you all for some help in the form of usefull tips and suggestions concerning my new armylist.
I put together a list with most of the painted models I own atm and with these models i want to make a decent army list. I dont have any tournemant play in mind but I do like my lists to be kinda min/max and viable on the tabletop witha bit of fluff sauce.
The models with a * infront and behind the name are models I would really like to consider to put in the army.
The models with ~in front and behind the name are models that could be usefull for the list but aren't a must.
Looking to build a list somewhere between 1500-2000 points
Please help me making a list and any tips or concerns are more then welcome.

Here is a list I build from the best units you have.
I am not an huge fan of Kharn but why not...
After first look to your models I tough you could play some «yin-yang» list between Khorne and Tzeentch.
Abba is used in Black Legion detachment with cultists as the heart of the army, same as your bike sorcerer wich will use his extra speed to move up to be in range for buffing your obliterators once they deepstrike to get ennemy main threath down.
Kharn and your berserkers (2x8) will embark in rhinos with, the only model you don't have, an exalted champ, and rush into your opponent face.
One single unit of berserkers can make 50 attacks per round in melee (66 on a successfull charge), rerolling all failed hits and all failed wounds rolls.
(Btw I would recommand you to switch Kharn for a Dark Apostle, wich have a 6" aura instead of 1" and doesnt kill your own units.)
And Ahriman will come to power up your psychic phases, he will stay with the core of your army using doombolt and other buffs while the daemon prince have enough speed to follow the rhinos and act as back up, depending of the psychic spell you take (diabolic strenght, prescience or death hex recommanded) and help them in melee.
They come with a few Chaos Spawn as distraction carniflexs.
Btw you can use Fated Mutation for 1CP wich can still be fun.
Wow thanks a lot for the tips I will think about this, looks like a great army. Btw is there any software to build up a list I get lost going through three different codexes to find point values.

The thing with abaddon is that you really only get value from him when he's surrounded by terminators, obliterators, and mutilators. That's the big punch he brings, everything else is supporting that. For that reason there are a lot of fail black legion lists because people think they can bring aba with some random stuff and have it be effective. I like your idea of playing undivided and using khorne and tzeentch to have their own impact. Best of luck.

I fully agree with this but remember this isn't a fully optimized list. I build it based on the units he had and he wanted to field.

I would use everything that can be dropped in from reserve, I think the limit is half your points. Have a huge turn 1 drop, and then use the landraider and other heavy support for the last 1000 points, cultists won't really have much combat value without the proper set up so your better off either bare bones'ing them just to get a battalion for the cp or simply using other stuff.
