So I'm considering running something like this relatively competitively. C&C welcome.

Goal would be to get the bike librarian up for a null zone on important targets w/ invuln saves, while using las cannon support to pop cars first turn. Then use the veterans to mow down any infantry / MC's they have in the army.

Which is more valuable to you, CP or points? DW can just DS the vets. The points you save by dropping the pods could gear up some SSs on the vets, or add more frag cannons. You could also include VV/Termis to fall back/soak wounds.

Why the 4th tac squad? Might be worth going dev, for the signum and cherub. Also, including HBs/MLs would let you use stratagems.

ohhhh, I forgot about their deep strike strategem, 4th tac squad was just a way to shove in an extra las cannon, let me modify up the list a bit

Not sure how worth the heavy bolter is for just the one strategem.

Before I forget it, the HB for the Stratagem y pretty good. Not allways are you going to fight against a Fly, sometimes your rival will just not have them. Then the HB will be more necessary than the ML.

I suggest you to forget the Drop Pod. Two Battalion will give you 13CP, you should use 3 for deep strike 2 of those Vet squads better equipped with your Watch Master. The other squad just with your Libby or a Captain if you decide to change. About those 2 Vet squad better equipped I mean with some SS and one Vanguard Veteran for Fall back and shoot. Those Terminator you don't need them with TH and SS because it is better making saves on the Vets. You can see that many players haves normal terminators for saving AP0 because of 2+ save, and everithing else on the SS Vets. There are more Veteran optimization but I am not an expert.


Just one more thing. I see you have a Salamanders Captain with Chainsword and SS. For one CP you can do that Chainsword the Relic one, I don't renember his name.

But yeah, lose the pod and give those Vets storm shields.
