I'm not 100% sure how many I have left as I snipped my Hormagaunts and Termagants out of the sprues years ago. But, I think I still have some laying around.

1) Are Adrenal Glands and/or Toxin Sacs worthwhile on Termagants or Hormagants?
2) Where do you place them on these small rank and file bugs? I've looked at pictures on google, and people have chosen several different locations. Is there a place that they are supposed to be placed?
3) If I remember correctly, Adrenal Glands are just one piece of plastic but Toxin Sacs are two. If I am only able to find one Toxin Sac for some of my Hormagaunts/Termagants, could they still most likely be used in tournament play even though they aren't truly WYSIWYG?

Thanks

Adrenal glands are ok on hormagaunts if you take mass numbers of them.

Toxin Sacs are horrible on everything.

Don't worry about modelling them, nobody knows what tyranids look like anyways and nobody will care.

No tournament will exclude your hormagaunts because they don't have adrenal glands glued on them, and if they do, it's not the kind of people you want to be playing with anyways.

I have a group of 30 Hormagaunts... is that enough to make Adrenal Glands worth it?

Thanks

Hormagaunts are chaff. To do that job properly they want to be as cheap as possibly in my opinion. The only time I would consider adrenal glands on them is if I was deep striking them, or I simply had nothing else to spend the points.

Agree with the above that there's no point modelling them, no one cares if they are on the model!

In your thread, trolling.

I think they could be useful on a mass of 30 Hormagaunts. I mean, if you're whole goal is to get them into combat ASAP and bog down the enemy with an annoying meat shield.

I agree on not carrying about modeling it though. Only other Tyranid players know what the biomorphs look like.
