I'm building this Fluff 1000pts list to play Thurs nights at my local shop, and since I have been away from the game for ages I thought I would run it buy you guys before I started buying models.

I am more into fluff then comp, but that being said i don't wish to get tabled every game. so here goes.

You dont need dominous and cawl in such a small list replace 1 with an enginseer

I was considering just that.
Looking at it if I swap the dominous for an enginseer. I can take another ironstrider but he won't have the twin lascannon, or should i just spend the points to buff the vanguard units?

if you want to make the most out of cawl he needs artillery to buff. However vanguard do make it easier to play the mission if your playing maelstrom/etc style

you could always shave a few points by making the vanguards vanilla if you wanted the lascannons.

(You might also find the fulgurites can have difficulty getting to their target alive you don't see them commonly in mars list without the forgeworld transport) if you wanted to boost your artillery and vanguard

I've had a play with the points now. (Ill keep the priests as it's a casual game and they destroy if the do get into combat).

and I've added an extra robot for more artillery.
