So...I kind of wanted to try Skirmish. Got the WD (thankfully my local GW had a copy left), but found out my Slaanesh Warband I was doing up for the cancelled painting project wouldn’t work; it’s one of the Grand Alliances, not faction specific (unless you House-rule). So, I decided on the below army: 250 on the dot, gets me melee, aura buffs, aura debuffs, combat, objective holders and magic. And each god is represented by two of his followers. For those unfamiliar, each model is its own unit, but you can take multiples using the same Warscroll:

Lord of Slaanesh (general): -1 to be hit item, +1 to wound warlord trait (100pts)
Hellstrider (standard bearer): -1 to be hit 6” bubble (25pts)
Wrathmonger (36pts)
Fleshhound champion (25pts)
Pink Horror (20pts)
Pink Horror (20pts)
Plaguebearer (12pts)
Plaguebearer (12pts)

Combat beatsticks led by a guy who is hard to hit and churns out attacks against other heroes, two spellcaster/shooter combos, one melee/shooter/anti-magic fast model, a +1 attack aura, a -1 to be hit aura, and two models to
Just squat on objectives. Thoughts? Feels balanced, represents all the gods equally, and potentially nasty.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

it looks like it could do well. Not sure if I would take 2 horrors. you could take 3 acolytes instead of a second one to have some more guys on the battlefield, they can sit on objectives and still shoot on something so are not just sitting there...
Same goes for the flesh hound, I would run 3 reavers/4marauders to run with the wrathmonger.
doesn't the hellstrider bubble only apply on hellstriders? Not sure how the effect is worded in combination with the skirmish rules change and do not have the book here...

In my experience, more units is always good in an objective based game...

I'll definitely try it out with the two acolytes replacing a horror as well; this was just to give me 3 guys who could potentially dispel, cast and shoot (plus two champions from each god).
The Fleshhound allows me to shoot, have a multiwound model, dispel, and wreak havoc in combat for a low 20pts
The Hellstrider bubble applies to the enemy, not to my units. The enemy is just straight up at -1 to hit (they're awesome).
The plaguebearers are the tough as nails objective holders.
The problem with more squishy guys like acolytes/marauders/reavers is that a battleshock test is taken everytime something dies. Kill multiples of them...lots of battleshock modifiers. All the models in this list either have multiple wounds or have boosts to their defense (4+ save or disgustingly resilient). But I do like the Kairic suggestion; definitely worth giving a try.

Battleshock is taken once per turn in the BS phase, not every time something dies.

I know. But if 4 models die, you take a test at -4 on ALL your guys...

You take a -4 test only on the general. It is why I take a daemon as general in my chaos lists. then if 4 guys die, it is still an auto pass.

Huh, didn’t realize that. I thought the whole army tested off his leadership (mine is mortal anyway). I’ll post a pic of the list.
