My local shop still haves some of these kits, and I was thinking about picking up some sicky bois for a kill team. With some chopping and gluing skills I figure I can make a flail guy and use the plasma gunner to anchor the team. After that what do I need? I'd have lotsa poxwalkers, and could maybe build some leaders out of the guys in the box.
I can't be the first one to do this, how did yours turn out? What should I try to build?

Just kitbash a couple Flail guys for your Zealot and Combat specialist and that kit makes a GREAT kill Team. Leader, Combat, Zealot, Gunner and then 8 Poxwalkers get a lot of work done. 
Here's mine, converted with bits from the Putrid Blightkings!

Looks great, man! Thanks for the tips. Should I just build the whole team out for punching people, or is it better with guns?

Its OK. A blight launcher is truly quite good, I think one of the smaller starter sets (First Strike) had the three man push fit squad (sarge with PF and plasma gun, bolter bro, and blight launcher) plus a bunch of pox walkers? You would still want one more dude, which you could ebay for (flail/cleaver) or pick up an icon bearer from one of the clam packs.
Another cheap way of doing it is to grab the 6 poxwalker pushfit box and the plague marine box (which lets you put together 7 dudes just be REALLY CAREFUL as only some bits fit on some torsos. Really follow the instruction manual on this one).
