I haven't played 40k in some time, and am just starting to get back on with Black Templars! I have played a handful of games with the 1k points I have, and am looking to expand towards a 1500 point list. I put together this list as a target based off my (limited) experience in games so far! Let me know what you all think. A little worried about plopping so many points inside a land raider, so maybe the 2nd Company Veteran squad is better served as another unit. At 1500, it feels odd because Helbrecht is such a great force multiplier for them but the unit is fairly expensive in total. It might be better to shave a few veterans and put points elsewhere.

A slight alternative to this could be swapping the Plasma Cannon/Combi Plasma for a Lascannons on the Crusader Squads for a bit more long range AT. This also frees up the Lieutenant to be put elsewhere. With this configuration I could drop the whole vanguard detachment since a good number of points right now are tied up in Characters Maybe a dakka dread could be added by shaving the veterans down to 8 and removing the Lieutenant/Cenobyte Servitors.

Additionally, I can swap the LRC out with a Stormraven, which might be a little better at actually getting me into combat faster due it's higher speed.
