I tried to find a thread on this topic, because I swear I remember one from months ago. I know there was an issue with Kickstarter from them, but I feel like I saw that everything got better since. I'm definitely looking at picking up the King of War (honestly, I'd probably use it for Angron when he hits, unless his model is beyond ridiculously awesome). Have they sorted through their issues? The model...is incredible. Leaps and bounds beyond any Khorne greater daemon (FW or GW proper), and would be awesome on the table. Any experience post-kickstarter?

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Well I still never got my Kickstarter pledge, so there's that.

I've only heard hearsay from the local community never getting their big demons. Could be rumors or one off issues

I got my reward from the KS, a spider demon. Several locals have gotten more recent purchases from them. Sounds like a mixed bag. Jeremy "sold' the company and only now provides sculpting.

I did eventually get my Kickstarter minis. It seemed like once the artist sold to someone who could run a business they improved a lot.

For those that didn't get their minis did you follow up after Jeremy was out of a leadership role?

I eventually received my full Kickstarter.

Months (years?) after it was concluded I realised I was missing a part. I contacted Creature Caster and the person who dealt with me was very professional and replaced it for free no questions asked.

Based solely on my limited experience I’d say it’s a well run company.

Ah what the hell. I'll message them and ask if I can ever have the Pincer Demon I ordered 5 years ago...

Couldn’t hurt. I thought I saw it got taken over by more reputable people. Hope that’s the case! H, if they send you your Daemon, I’m getting a King of War!

Now the company is run by people other than a man who is constantly on yoga retreats and attending burning man festivals while living out of a box on wheels it seems to be doing well.

I ordered a Lord of Slaughter a few months ago, and it arrived quickly.

Super happy with the model itself, too.

Their supply chain (currently) isn't terrible. I ordered my kits (Lady of Anguish, Lady of Depravity, Lady of Arcana, and Lord of Malice) at Adepticon last year and they were delivered within two weeks (they're in British Columbia, I'm in Ontario, so no border-crossing/customs delays).

From the models perspective, I'm going to say that the models aren't the greatest. There's a lack of sharpness to the features and oftentimes the detailing in the sculpt is sloppy.

I realize that this can be a combination of the age of the sculpt (the few I picked up are older sculpts) and the fact that they're resin prints (so limitations in the materials), but I'm still only moderately happy with these models.

I'm interested in the response you get - hopefully they make good on this for you!

I ended up getting my pledge but the models were pretty much unusable from the casting errors and horrible mold release. After the way the new ownership conducted themselves surrounding the release of their store (opening it and selling models before they even delivered on the Kickstarter), I have been completely put off giving them more money.

I messaged them on Facebook about my concerns and they offered to send me a replacement Vulture Demon to replace my screwed up KS one...all I had to do was order something from their store and they'd throw it in the box. The fact that they wanted me to give them more money to fix the problems they inherited from Jeremy Glen was, I think, pretty telling of where their priorities are.

That said, I've heard good things about the quality of their models nowadays. They changed their resin and mold release since the KS releases and I've seen nothing but awesome stuff come from their new models. Maybe one day when I'm less bitter I'll consider picking something up, but after Jeremy and his gimp box screwed dozens of people out of what they paid for for years, I can't say I'm in any rush to give his successors any of my hard-earned money.

They've got some cool models, but reading their descriptions on the site is both hilarious and cringe-worthy. It's like "no-really-we're-not-warhammer-ok-it-kind-of-is-but-not-really-but-it's-totally-warhammer-except-that-it's-not."

Try messaging them on Facebook. I've found that's the quickest way to get a hold of them.

I head back. And after 5 years they want more money to ship it to me. Incredible.

Tell 'em to bring it to Adepticon, and I'll ship it to you. Oddly, it's cheaper than shipping to Old Blighty.

Well, with that attitude they can forget about ever getting my custom. Of course, there's no way for them to quantify this kind of negative, but what are you gonna do?

As a kind of "meet me halfway" thing they said they'd go with the cheaper shipping option, send all the KS freebies anyway, and throw in some extras.

And they apologised for the previous management.

I remember Jeremy getting quite flustered when some of us brought up their obvious use as Warhammer models. He would insist they were DnD inspired or otherwise original creations despite them even being based at the appropriate size for WFB back then

I backed, but felt something was off and ended up in for a buck. Saw the whole debacle, but gave them a second chance around the time they put out the Lord of Malice model.
I've gotten quite a few post Kickstarter models since then. They've all been very nice quality, and shipped out promptly.
My favorite has been the big Nurgley King that I have yet to paint.
I've got some posted here on Dakka and I've posted a few videos of them as well.

I guess I'm in the odd camp of having nothing but relatively positive experiences since the Kickstarter?

I'm sort of interested in ording the Lady of Chaos to use as a stand in Deamon Princ(ess) because I don't like the GW deamon prince. So count me interested!

She's a lot bigger than a Daemon Prince though, be aware. I don't have her in front of me, but I'm pretty sure her base takes up more real estate as well.

Figuring out where the limbs of all those damned souls went was a real pain, combing the model trying to attempt to find the spots for them.

I do find it interesting how many painters over on Twitch they're partnering with at present - I wasn't even aware of them having had a poorly-run KS before this thread, but have seen some really nicely painted models over there.
