Road to Renown! It's like classic Path to Glory, but repaired, remastered, expanded! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/778170.page

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

I expect a battle royale game following this storyline within the year.

The Wolves should be parachuted in. That would mess with the moose! Or give them microlights!

That’s quite cool that people are taking predator reintroduce seriously, especially with wolves, where people normally freak out.

Yep. Its what they keep the u-boats around for. Wolf pack tactics.

This is a great use of the wolf. Hard to believe we hire people to cull wolves in places wolves have nothing to eat. Disgusting.

Hard to believe wolves can bring down a moose though - quite dangerous.

Huh? That's staple food for them - not for a lone wolf, no, but a pack with several strong hunters can tire out and kill a moose through team work. If there's enough easier prey they will ofc take the lesser risk, but a moose can feed the pack for a week...

Saw a special on wolves in North Canada - a single pack there hunts Bison which I believe a little smaller than a moose. They said it's very rare for wolves to attack prey that much larger than them. Though it's not unbelievable I just think it is incredible.

Well, Bison might not be quite as tall as a Moose, but they're significantly heavier and stronger and just generally more solid. Which is saying a lot as Moose are very hefty animals. Plus Bison live in herds. All that together makes Bison much more rare as a prey for anything that isn't humans. Moose are solitary animals in contrast, so they're easier by default.

Wolf packs can of course take on any kind of prey, but they take the path of least resistance like any predator, so its pretty rare for them to attack something as difficult as a Bison.
