This is my first real attempt at a full kit bash, I’m not a huge fan of the current vindicare so decided to go for my own version.

The body is made up using a skitarii ranger, Reiver head, drukhari leg and a bit of green stuff on the cape.

The weapon is a radium jezzail from a dragoon with a scope made from part of an eradication Beamer and part of a auto cannon.

The base is from parts of the sector imperialis kit.

I’m happy for any c&c as I really enjoyed this and want to get much better at it.

Thanks

The head is a big ginormous for the body, but everything else looks great! I like how you've told a story with the basing.

Fantastic start. though i agree the head is a bit big

why not paint the rest of the head in skull color to look like a helmet instead.

Nice conversion work. I like the helmet idea.

Looks great. I ahree ots a good idea to paint the entire head like a helmet. That will make it make sense that its so large

He's quite neat! I like the idea behind it, and the ruins work well.

Thanks for the replies,

So I have tried to blend the head into a helmet, not sure it has worked that well but it does look like less of a bobble head! I have made a second also now but decided to keep the rangers head to keep the scale more accurate.

It's a neat kitbash, but the basing is...well I hope you don't game with them much. As a sniper model, I assume these would mostly be placed inside terrain or buildings, etc. The overly large base would really be a massive hindrance to game play for me.
