..definately got an old world/WFRP kinda vibe to it.
The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

It's like someone watch Goblin Slayer and was like "I like this. I want to do something like this" and then just went hog wild with their imagination, throwing in some bits of Skyrim, a little The Witch, and some Revenant.
I don't really understand the trailer but might be interesting. Looks like my kind of love story.
-"Wait a minute.....who is that Frazz is talking to in the gallery? Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG

Indie film is indie film. That's a 2-in-the-morning-Netflix movie if I've ever seen one. Looks well laid out though. Nice visuals, at least in the trailer.
Okay so I saw this on iTunes and gave it a rent so for anyone curious here's what I have to say about it.
Everybody will not enjoy this movie. Most people actually probably won't enjoy this movie. I'm not sure I enjoyed this movie.
It's interesting and wow did it keep my interest from start to finish for such a slow film. The main man, who is pretty much the only character, only speaks a few lines the whole movie and still manages to convey the persona of a grief stricken man driven solely by the chance for revenge. The sets are actually really good, the main characters armor is a beautiful mix of Skyrim and the Witcher and the camera work is stellar. There's something about this experience that just works.
As for the cons... There's almost no dialogue. Maybe four or five spoken lines. There's only one real character, and a lot of what happens is left to the viewer to puzzle out. Most action happens off screen, and while I normally think horror movies ruin themselves with showy effects I think a little something would have been preferable here to the nothing. The movie really is a character piece, and definitively indie and if that's never interested you before, this movie won't change your mind.
I think the worst part though is the ending. The ending is... well the ending is fething stupid. I said it. I feel like that's almost par for the course in horror films, but this one actually managed to really piss me off with how cheap it is. There's no real context for it, much like the action it happens mostly off screen, and it just comes about from nothing out of thin air because horror movies aren't allowed to have good endings or something.
There's some really incredible landscape shots though.

Yeah, definitely not what I was expecting. Best I can say is that I didn’t hate it.
I’ll probably have to watch some youtubers video explaining the ending though.

Spoiler:
As Father is walking back to the house at the end of the film and passes the back window, you can hear him get attacked and there's the sound of sawing in the background, because apparently once you get black goo'd your immortal and can decapitate a man with nothing but your spinal cord and steal his body for yourself... unless your Father in which case you die and get your head mounted on your own wall because feth you. It's a really cheap ending.
The actual event is fairly straightforward, but if there was some message to it other than giving the audience a fat middle finger I don't see it.

Just re-watched the last 15 minutes. Yeah, pretty disappointing and weird to say the least.
