Thinking of a list of some sort of the following, wanna bring the 3 big guys, but cultists and pox walkers give me bodies!

Are deathshroud good for keeping morty alive?

Is this fluffy and okay?

Also would it be semi good on the table?

I'm thinking I'll be deep striking everything except typhus, morty and all the gribbly troops...

Dead by turn 1? With all the deep striking units and the bodyguards? Also isn't he resilient?

Everyone is obsessed with units being dead turn one. Yes it is possible that Mortarion and his deathshroud will die turn one. I've seen a list with 3 castellans that could easily do it. That list also finished last in the tournament because it can't score victory points well!

I think you're not getting the most out of abandon though and cultists are pretty meh now, no legion traits and 5 points. I think you'd be better doubling down on your death guard with some plagueburstcrawlers and maybe some nurgle daemons.

With everything deep striking the only thing worth shooting at will be Morty. If you are going to run him you need other high value threats that they have to make tough choices about. At least then he soaks up all the shooting if they decide to target him and everything else hammers home

When I ring up this list it’s over 2000, are you putting the 115 oblits as 65? Cause that’s wrong. Other than illegal list, it’s ok
