This is the latest Kickstarter by Studio Miniatures.

All metal range of zombies through various historical periods.

I would imagine these may work for people for various things and games.

But also of note is the heads and shields can be grabbed as add ons.
Which to me look like they’ll go great for AoS (and my Poxwalkers too to be honest).

Current situation:

Funded. At £4300 currently.
Greeks and Persians unlocked. (Each Group has four sets of figures. Then a few head and shield packs.
Then a combination of Champion, Musician and Standard Bearer (Some will have all three).

Next: Vikings at £5000

These look great. I may need to scrape together some funds. I would prefer less zombie and more evil/ghoulish but you can't please everyone.

We'll find out soon enough eh.

No scale comparisons, no deal.

Companies need to learn that just saying "28mm" is useless - 28mm to the eyes? To the top of the head? Just a general vague category and the models are actually 30-32mm tall? Historicals or fantasy proportioned?

They have 3D models, and home resin printers for less than 400USD are a thing now, there's no longer any excuse not to have prototypes available for images.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

"Your society's broken, so who should we blame? Should we blame the rich, powerful people who caused it? No, lets blame the people with no power and no money and those immigrants who don't even have the vote. Yea, it must be their fething fault." - Iain M Banks

"The language of modern British politics is meant to sound benign. But words do not mean what they seem to mean. 'Reform' actually means 'cut' or 'end'. 'Flexibility' really means 'exploit'. 'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

"Unimaginably ancient xenos artefact somewhere on the planet, hive fleet poised above our heads, hidden 'stealer broods making an early start....and now a bloody Chaos cult crawling out of the woodwork just in case we were bored. Welcome to my world, Ciaphas."
Inquisitor Amberley Vail, Ordo Xenos

"I will admit that some Primachs like Russ or Horus could have a chance against an unarmed 12 year old novice but, a full Battle Sister??!! One to one? In close combat? Perhaps three Primarchs fighting together... but just one Primarch?" da001

Important update coming, in my mind anyway..

So we have Greek and Persian already unlocked, but they are adding a new set of each (included straight away not an unlock).
Zombies proper, so nothing in hands, shambling undead hordes.

Also, literally £8 away from Vikings. So an update coming soon I think!
